Teen Volunteer Thank You Party
The
teen volunteer Thank You Party will be on Monday, Aug. 17 at 2 p.m. in the Tabb
Library meeting room. Join us for ice cream sundaes and Wii games.
All teens 13 years old and
older may volunteer at the York County Public Library. If you enjoy
children and books, let us put you to work!
The 2009 Summer Reading Program needs volunteers from
June 17 through August 7. Teens must be willing to commit to working a
minimum of four of the seven weeks. A few volunteers will be asked to
assist June 12-16.
When applying for a Summer Reading Program
volunteer position, you must agree to attend one of the following training
sessions:
Applications may be downloaded and filled out at
home. Please submit your application in person to the Tabb or Yorktown Library
Children's Department. A parent or legal guardian must sign the application. Applications will be
accepted from May 4 to May 22, 2009. Thank you for your
interest in volunteering at your York County Public Library.
