This month's Booklastic books are...Geronimo Stilton for K-2nd, and Waylong! One Awesome Thing by Sara Pennypacker for our 3rd to 5th graders. Our Booklastic Book Clubs will be held on Tuesday, April 27, through Zoom. K through 2nd Graders meet at 11:30 a.m. and 3rd through 5th graders meet at 12:30 p.m. Register to get your Zoom link by calling Tabb at 757-890-5110 or Yorktown at 757-890-3236, or by visiting our Online Event Calendar.

But wait there's more! April is National Poetry Month, so our teen and tween homeschoolers can stop by the library during the week of April 19 to find their to-go packs in the Young Adult section! The packs contain everything you need to create your own blackout poetry. To learn more about this program, check out tomorrow's Teen Tuesdays post. And don't forget that we will also be offering a teen and tween activity kit while supplies last. April's kit will challenge you to reuse egg cartons, boxes and more to create art.
