Cats Cradle Audiobook

Regardless of whether you are a regular reader of science fiction, Kurt Vonnegut should be on your list of authors to read. No book is more representative of Vonnegut's style than Cat's Cradle.

Summary
A young writer decides to interview the children of a scientist — Felix Hoenikker — who is primarily responsible for the creation of the atomic bomb. The journey sets him on the path of "ice-nine," the invention that will truly mean the end of the world. The satirical tale allows Vonnegut to comment on everything from religion to science to the arms race, all in the deadpan and dark style that has made the author well-loved by many readers.

The Gunslinger, Dark Tower Part 1 by Stephen King

Stephen King is well-known for his celebrated ability to scare readers around the world. But what some don't realize is that horror isn't his only genre. King has tried his hand at high fantasy with The Dark Tower series with great success.

The Dark Tower series starts with The Gunslinger and follows the exploits of Roland Deschain of Gilead, the last gunslinger, as he seeks the Dark Tower in an attempt to save his world. But the series becomes so much more as we meet new characters and explore new worlds.
