[ARCHIVED] VPPSA Compost Facility to Reopen May 4

This is an image of the VPPSA Compost Facility

Beginning Monday, May 4, the VPPSA Compost Facility will reopen to the general public for material sales and yard debris drop-off of limbs, branches and clear bags of natural yard waste.

PLEASE NOTE:  Credit cards or commercial accounts will be the only form of payment accepted (no cash or checks).  There will be a credit card device available to customers for material purchases.

Normal operating hours are 8:00am – 4:00pm.

Citizens may still utilize the County’s curbside yard debris collection program by calling 757-890-3780 or through our online Customer Service Request.  Please see our Yard Debris Collection webpage for details/restrictions on curbside yard debris collection.

Thank you so much for your patience and understanding while we worked through these details!
