Come to New Quarter ParkHello All, Join us for Free Events at New Quarter Park this month:
Friday, February 14: Wash and Talk Led by Park Interpreter, Sara Lewis, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Join Sara as she cleans, sorts, and identifies artifacts dating back to the 1700's found right here in New Quarter Park. You will be fascinated by the many interesting things you will learn from Sara about what these artifacts tell us. Pre-registration is not required.
Saturday, February 22: Bird Walk This is hosted by the Williamsburg Bird Club and will meet at the main parking lot next to the basketball courts at 8 a.m. Participants will be led on a 2-hour stroll through the park in search of viewing and identifying birds! Pre-registration is not required. Registration is now open for the 3rd Annual Easter Egg Scramble! The scramble will be held on Saturday, April 4. Pre-event activities and check-in start at 12 p.m. Before the hunt, children of all ages can enjoy a variety of games, a visit from the Easter Bunny, and more! Children ages 5-12 will be divided into groups with adult leaders to hunt through the trails for Easter eggs. Pre-registration for this program is required due to limited space.
