Governor Ralph Northam has closed all schools through the end of the academic year and has banned gatherings of 10 or more.  It's important now more than ever that we stay healthy!  We know that staying active is an important step towards wellness. So, consider taking a walk in one of our parks. Please remember to practice social distancing and to participate in an activity with no more than nine others. The image below gives you some good tips on how to enjoy our parks and trails.
 
While there are many questions about our spring programs, please remain patient while we determine the next steps for each of our programs. We will publish updates as soon as they are available.
  
We will still have staff on duty to open the park and restrooms but the park office will not be open to the public. The disc golf course will still be open and is free to play. 
 
With the office closed, be sure to bring plenty of water with you.

Important Reminder: The water from faucets and spigots is non-potable (untreated) and not safe to drink.  
 
Patrons may still call the park office at 757-890-5840 or their cellphone (please do not text) at 757-812-5589 during Park hours.
 
New Operating Hours!  In-season hours will begin on Wednesday, April 1.  The park will be open Monday - Sunday, from 8 am to dusk.
