We have our first nature craft video project for you here Recycled Bird Feeder! Learn how to make a bird feeder from everyday items lying around your house. This quick and easy project is a great way to introduce your children to birding. Place the feeder on a tree in your backyard and see what kinds of birds are in your neighborhood. To identify the birds click here for the Audubon bird identification webpage. Thanks to the Williamsburg Bird Club for donating birdseed for our Park. We will have more fun video projects for you to do in upcoming emails!
 
Please remember: 

• Since we are unable to host programs and shelter reservations through June 10^th, we will be adjusting our schedule to try to reschedule those programs as we are able.
• Staff on duty will open the park and restrooms, but the park office will not be open to the public.
  
• Playgrounds and basketball courts are closed.
  
• The disc golf course is still open and is free of charge to play during this time period.
  
• With the office closed, be sure to bring plenty of water with you.
  
• The water from faucets and spigots is non-potable (untreated) and not safe to drink.
