York County Polling Place Temporarily Relocated Due to School Closure
The York County Electoral Board has received permission from the Virginia Board of Elections to temporarily relocate its polling place from the Grafton School Complex to the Senior Center of York located in the Washington Square Shopping Center at 5314 George Washington Memorial Highway. The change in location is due to the closure of the school complex following a fire that occurred in February.
"Individuals who normally vote at the Grafton School Complex and who wish to participate in the June 23 Republican Primary will instead cast their vote at the Senior Center," said Voter Registrar Walt Latham. "We plan to return the polling place to the Grafton School Complex in November for the Presidential Election."
The Registrar's Office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Tuesday, June 23, the Senior Center will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. for voters.
