Our Award-Winning Farmers Market
Makes an Early Arrival!
There’s no hibernating for Yorktown Market Days’ amazing vendors, artists, and staff this winter. For the first time, shoppers can support these small businesses before the official season kicks off in spring. Take advantage of three winter markets in all – Jan. 30, Feb. 13, and March 6. That’s right, the first one is taking place this Saturday!
Even though there’s a later start time, you’ll still want to bundle up when you head down to the waterfront to shop for locally grown, produced, and crafted products. Grab a cup of hot coffee from Column 15 or a steaming bowl of deliciousness from Kathi’s Clam Chowder. Get your eggs from Birch Knoll Farm, your meat from Raders Quarter Farm, and your seasonal produce from Sycamore Springs Farm. You’ll find a vast selection of baked goods, prepared soups, gourmet chocolates, homemade candles, dog treats, and so much more! For a complete list of participants, click here.
Don’t miss a special performance by the Fifes and Drums of York Town at 11 a.m. and be sure to head down to the fountain area where Water Street Grille will be selling New York- style pizzas by the slice!
Select vendors and artists are offering pre-order options. To learn more, just follow the individual events we’ve created on our Visit Yorktown Facebook page where they have been asked to share products, pricing, and ordering instructions. Come see why we are the GOLD winner of Best Farmers Market in all of Hampton Roads for the second year in a row by the readers of Coastal Virginia Magazine.
Special thanks to returning sponsors Langley Federal Credit Union, State Farm Agent Mark Irwin, Parks Orthodontics, and Amory Funeral Home. Yorktown Market Days is presented by York County and the Riverwalk Landing Business Association.
We know the weather is unpredictable year-round so in the case of inclement weather, just as during the regular season, the market will move into the lower level of the Water Street Parking Terrace. Due to the evolving nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, all 2021 events are subject to change including times, dates, and locations.
