 St. Patrick's Day Scavenger Hunt 

St. Patrick's Scavenger Hunt

Need to shake off those winter blues? How about a nice scavenger hunt. Pre-registration required. Start hunting March 1. Find the clues and take a picture once completed, email your pictures to parksandrec@yorkcounty.gov for verification. Pictures must be submitted by March 17. Your name will be entered for a drawing of a $20 gift card. Best of Luck! Register by March 15.

 Nature Craft 

Nature Craft

Saturday, March 6 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. New Quarter Park will be offering a brand new program for children ages 6 to 10 years old. Children will make their very own bird feeders, sun-catchers, and more out of recycled and natural materials! The fee is $10 per resident. Limited space!  Register by February 26.

Spring Adult Group Tennis Lessons 

Adult Tennis Lessons

4-week Adult Group Tennis Lessons are being offered at Back Creek Park on Tuesday evenings, April 6 to April 27. The beginner lessons will be from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. and the intermediate lessons will be from 7:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. Lessons will focus on fundamentals, technique, and strategy to varying degrees. The fee is $50 for residents. Limited space! Register by March 29.

 Spring Youth Tennis Lessons 

Youth Tennis Lessons

4-week Youth Tennis Lessons are being offered this spring for ages 5-17 at Kiln Creek Park and Back Creek Park.  Fundamental skills, technique, and strategy will be emphasized in varying degrees depending on the age and skill level. Beginner and Intermediate level lessons are offered for most age groups and a variety of scheduling formats and fees can be viewed on our website. Limited space! Register by April 5.

 Wash & Talk at New Quarter Park 

Wash & Talk
March 12, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.  Join Sara Lewis (Park Interpreter) as she cleans, sorts, and identifies artifacts dating back to the 1700s found right here in New Quarter Park. Pre-registration by March 10. FREE
