New Quarter Park

Come to New Quarter Park

Hello All,

On Saturday, March 6 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. New Quarter Park will be offering a Nature Craft Workshop for children ages 6 to 10 years old. Children will make their very own bird feeders, sun-catchers, and more out of recycled and natural materials! Parents will drop off their children at Shelter #1. The fee is $10 per resident and $20 per nonresident. The deadline to register is February 26! (Limited Space)

Our monthly Wash and Talk program will continue on Friday, March 12. The Wash and Talk is hosted by the park interpreter, Sara Lewis, every second Friday of the month from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The deadline to register is March 11! FREE (Limited Space)

Please register online by visiting our website at www.yorkcounty.gov/parksandrec. All our programs are modified to ensure we recreate responsibly and meet current Virginia phased guidelines as well as executive orders.

Friendly reminder, the disc golf course will be closed this Sunday, February 21 for the Let Freedom Fly Veterans Tournament.

See you at the park,
Michael Wilcox
Recreation Supervisor I
