We’re baaaaaack! Our award winning farmers market returns to the waterfront this Saturday, April 10, from 8 to noon. Take advantage of this open air shopping experience to purchase seasonal produce and eggs; fresh beef, pork, and poultry; wild flowers; baked goods; and so much more. Browse beautiful paintings, hand-blown glass, and wood work! Enjoy a performance by the Fifes and Drums, plus live entertainment too. And do it all with the beautiful York River as the backdrop.
To help us kick the season off right, we’re teaming up with York County’s Department of Public Works and the York County Beautification Committee for our first annual Go Green Market. Our goal is to promote environmental sustainability. Be sure to bring your reusable bags for shopping! There will also be a limited supply of free giveaways on site that day. Look for special exhibitors and educational children’s crafts, activities, and games. Shoppers will also have an opportunity to discuss eco-friendly methods and unique upcycled products with both artists and vendors alike. Some businesses will be offering recycling incentives at their booths for future purchases! We hope you and your family will… Meet Us at the Market.
