Market Days Goes Green; Local Businesses Get Support; Master Gardeners' Plants Go on Sale

Yorktown Market Days Season Begins Tomorrow!
These award-winning Saturday markets return to the waterfront tomorrow (4/10) from 8 a.m. to noon. Fresh produce, meats, baked goods, flowers, artwork, the Fifes & Drums of York Town, and live entertainment await you each Saturday. This first market is a team effort alongside the County’s Department of Public Works and the Beautification Committee to bring you the Go Green Market!  To help promote protecting our environment, staff are handing out free giveaways and visitors should be on the lookout for children’s crafts, activities and games. Shoppers have the opportunity to discuss eco-friendly topics with artists and vendors.  Some businesses are offering recycling incentives for future purchases!  Be sure to meet us at the market.  For the full 2021 schedule, visit the Market Days website.
