French Market Celebrates Sister City; Budget Public Hearing; Weekend On Your Wheels Returns

French Market Tomorrow; Wednesday is Historic Garden Week in Yorktown
Tomorrow we pay tribute to Yorktown’s sister city Port-Vendres during the French Market at Riverwalk Landing from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Lively music, exquisite art, and traditional foods like baguettes, chocolates, macarons, and crepes are waiting for you at the waterfront.  Enjoy the Wine Garden and place your bids in the Silent Auction. Back by popular demand is the Flea Market featuring vintage and repurposed collectibles. For more information, and the season long schedule, visit the Market Days website.  Return to Yorktown on Wednesday for Historic Garden Week.  The Freight Shed will be filled with show-stopping tabletop creations and participants can tour the Custom House gardens.  Visitors will also enjoy a Gardening Talk at the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown and have the opportunity to tour other garden sites. Before you leave, purchase your very own Yorktown Onion from the Celebrate Yorktown Committee.  This event costs $20/person and tickets must be purchased online.
