June "Featured Five"

#1 Movie in the Park - New Quarter Park

Miracle

We would love to see you this Saturday night, June 5 for our next Movie in the Park! With the Summer Olympics right around the corner we wanted to get you in the spirit by showing MIRACLE (2004) (PG) 2h 16m. When college coach Herb Brooks (Kurt Russell) is hired to helm the 1980 U.S. men's Olympic hockey team, he brings a unique and brash style to the ice. After assembling a team of hot-headed college all-stars, who are humiliated in an early match, Brooks unites his squad against a common foe, the heavily-favored Soviet team. As the U.S. squad tries to overcome insurmountable odds and win the gold medal, the team becomes a microcosm for American patriotism during the Cold War.  Movies begin roughly 15 minutes after sunset. Concessions will be available for purchase. Please bring blankets and/or chairs for your seating.
