Saturday, June 12 is National Get Outdoors Day! York County’s parks welcome you every day and have many options for you to get outside, get moving, and get healthy! - Take advantage of this Saturday Special at Back Creek Park on June 12: No charge for use of the pickleball or tennis courts! Kayak rentals are available for a small fee.
- Walking trails, outdoor fitness equipment, picnic shelters, and playgrounds are available at the McReynolds Athletic Complex (MAC).
- So many options at Kiln Creek Park: Soccer field, baseball/softball fields, playground, basketball courts, picnic tables, and wide-open space for Frisbee or just running around.
- Check out Charles Brown Park for a pick-up game of basketball or kickball, a playground for the kiddos, and picnic tables.
- Bring Fido to Chisman Creek and/or Wolf Trap parks where you can find plenty of space to walk your dog and also fields for playing sports with your friends….(be sure to clean up after your dog!)
- 545 acres welcomes you in the upper County at New Quarter Park – miles and miles of walking and mountain bike trails, disc golf, horseshoe pit, and more! We are excited to announce that the FREE Bird Walks, hosted by the Williamsburg Bird Club, will officially be starting again on Saturday, June 26th.
