New Quarter Park

Come to New Quarter Park

Hello All,

This weekend on Saturday, August 21 we will have our monthly FREE Drum Circle in the multipurpose field next to the main office with local Master Naturalist Madeline Vann. Drumming is a great way to bring people together, reduce stress, and connect with nature. Drums and shakers will be provided on a limited basis. We encourage you to bring your own percussion instrument or shakers, as well as a chair or blanket to sit on. Register online by August 19.

Next Saturday, August 28 will be our monthly FREE Bird Walk at 8 a.m. with the Williamsburg Bird Club. Birders will meet in the main parking lot by the basketball courts to take a stroll through the park in search of birds of all sizes. Register online by August 26.

Our next “Movie in the Park” will be on Saturday, September 4! We will be showing How to Train Your Dragon (3): The Hidden World at New Quarter Park. Synopsis: The inhabitants of Berk enjoy firm friendships, new responsibilities, and great relationships with their dragons as they co-exist happily. However, once an evil dragon trafficker threatens their peace, seeking to rob and deceive them emotionally and wipe out the dragons entirely, they must join forces to overcome this newfound foe. This FREE outdoor movie will begin approximately 15 minutes after sunset. Please bring chairs and blankets to sit on. Concessions will be available for sale.
