It's become a community tradition to help kick off a season of cooler weather, changing leaves, and outdoor fun for the whole family!
During Yorktown’s Fall Market—shop more than 40 different vendors and artists selling seasonal favorites like pumpkins, mums, autumn-inspired art, kettle corn, and apple pies! Enjoy free activities for kids of all ages, including the annual hay maze, the return of hay rides, a pumpkin painting craft, and fun photo opportunities. There will also be a petting zoo featuring miniature animals, and a professional pumpkin carver doing a live demonstration on the Riverwalk Landing Stage. The Fifes & Drums of York Town will give a special performance at 9 a.m.
Don't miss our "Guess the Weight of the Giant Pumpkin" game with a massive pumpkin donated by Pumpkinville in Toano. The person to guess the closest (without going over) on Visit Yorktown’s Facebook page will win a prize basket with vegetables donated by P&D produce, small pumpkins donated by Allen’s Farm, and a beautiful hand-blown glass pumpkin created and donated by Artist Kelsey Finnie.
Come on down to the waterfront Oct. 9, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. to see what makes us one of the favorite farmers markets on the Peninsula, especially this time of year!
