On Saturday, November 6, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the McReynolds Athletic Complex (MAC) will transform into York County’s popular Vintage Market. Browse the complex to search for farm antiques, old children’s books, vinyl records, vintage tools and unique home décor. Village Events has an exciting lineup of 30 local vendors and artists who will be selling everything from antiques to repurposed favorites. Members of the Classic Cruisers Car Club will have some vintage vehicles on display as including a ‘49 Ford, ‘50 Ford Truck, ‘56 Chevy 2-Door, and ‘57 Chevy Nomad.
Adding to the festive ambiance will be live entertainment provided by Phil Poteat beginning at 11 a.m. Concession stands will be open to serve lunch and snacks, in addition to Kathi’s Clam Chowder (Lobster Rolls and Clam Chowder), Coastal Thirst (Tacos, Quesadillas, Breakfast Sandwiches, and Beverages), and Pop’s Kettle Corn (Kettle Corn and Hot Chocolate).
Admission is free and so is the parking. For added convenience, the Yorktown Trolley will be in service from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to shuttle customers and their purchases to and from their vehicles.
The rain date for this event is Sunday, November 7. Please remember, the MAC is a non-smoking facility. Service pets only.
