Don’t want to go shopping this Friday? New Quarter Park’s gates will open at their regularly scheduled time, from 10 am until dusk. Will you #OptOutside with us? #OptOutside isn’t just a hashtag, a rich life is full of experiences, not things. Bring yourself, friends, and/or family to enjoy a walk, a picnic, a bike ride, horseshoes, disc golf, and more at the park. We would love for everyone to share some of their pictures enjoying the outdoors at our parks that we can share on our website. Please email to parksandrec@yorkcounty.gov.

This Saturday, November 27 at 8 am, the Williamsburg Bird Club will host our monthly Bird Walk. Explore the park looking for the extraordinary birds passing through the park during their seasonal southern migration. Free Binoculars can be checked out at New Quarter Park’s main office, during open hours. Pre-registration for this free program is required online by November 25.
