 #1 Birthday Bash - Senior Center of York 

Mike Steen

Wear your green for a pre-St. Patrick’s Day celebration with Mike Steen. Join us on Friday, March 11 at 1 p.m. as Mr. Steen, Director of Education at the Waterman’s Museum, leads us in a fun sing-along of your favorite Irish songs and more. Register by March 7.  

 #2 NASA Skywatchers 

Star Gazing

On March 26, New Quarter Park will be offering families an out-of-this-world adventure…in space! Join the NASA Skywatcher’s Club as they set up their telescopes for an opportunity to see the heavens with your eyes. You will never want this evening program to end! From 8 pm to 10 pm, you and your family will be able to view planets and constellations visible in our night sky under the light of a half-moon, weather permitting. Register by March 23.

 #3 Adult Open Gym Basketball

This is a free opportunity for fitness and fun for ages 18+. Adults can shoot hoops on Sundays, from 1 to 6 pm, until April 10 at Coventry Elementary School gym. Picture ID required. 

 #4 Summer Fun & Special Recreation Camps 

Special Recreation Trip

Summer Fun Camp (M-Th, June 27 - July 28):  Summer Fun Camp is for children who will be completing kindergarten through 8th grade for the 2021-2022 school year. This 5-week program meets Mondays through Thursdays from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. Limited space!
Special Recreation Camp (M-F, June 27 - July 29):  This summer program is designed to provide a variety of enjoyable recreational opportunities for youth with disabilities and/or special needs. The program fee includes fun activities, weekly themes, arts and crafts, special visitors, games, and movies. This 4-week program meets Mondays through Fridays from 9 am to 2 pm. Limited space!

 #5 Stories by the Fire 

Toasting Marshmellows

With the arrival of spring, everything is green! Even March! This Saint Patrick’s Day weekend, come out to New Quarter Park and join us as we celebrate the day the best way possible! We will have s’mores by the fire and listen to tales of Fairies and Leprechauns told by professional storytellers. Your family will not want to miss this opportunity to be whisked away by stories from the emerald isle. Join us on March 19, at the Fire Circle in the park for this FREE evening program starting at 6:30 pm. Pre-register by March 14. FREE
