New Quarter Park will be hosting the Queens Lake 5K race on March 26. If you are planning to drive to New Quarter Park on that morning, please remember to yield to all runners on the road and use extra caution. Please also note, the park may be very busy during the first part of the day due to the race, so plan your park visit accordingly.
 
This coming Sunday, March 27, New Quarter Park will be offering a Pre-ride Skills assessment for all youth interested in the Weekend on Your Wheels Youth Bike Race Series. Starting at noon, racers can take the opportunity to become familiar with the course prior to the beginning of races, firm up their skills, and practice new ones.
 
As a reminder, the monthly Bird Walk at New Quarter Park has been cancelled for this Saturday, March 26. Join us for our next one on April 23. In the meantime, check out the list of birds found in the park here.
 
The Easter Egg Scramble being held at the park on April 9 is currently FULL, however, we are still taking waitlist registrations.
