Tickets are on sale now at www.villageevents.org for the May 7 Blues, Brews & BBQ Festival. From 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., attendees can sample dozens of craft beers, dig into some amazing BBQ (available for purchase) and listen as some of the best blues musicians in Hampton Roads take the stage at Riverwalk Landing. The music starts with the School of Rock at noon. J.D. Silvia Blues Band at 12:45 p.m., the Jason Cale Band at 2:30 p.m., and the Bobby BlackHat Band at 4:30 p.m.

Another favorite, and back by popular demand, is the wine tent offering tastings included with admission. The tent showcases French, German, and other wine favorites. Early Bird tickets are $35 in advance (now through April 15) and $40 after and at the door (if tickets are available). This is a closed, ticketed event only and is not recommended for children. A limited number of non-drinking tickets are available for $15.
