County Offices Closed July 4 in Observance of Independence Day

The following York County government offices and courts will be closed on Friday, July 4, in observance of the Independence Day holiday:

• County Government Offices and Courts
• York-Poquoson Social Services
• Virginia Cooperative Extension
• York County Libraries
• Waste Management Center Offices, Drop Off Area & Transfer Station
• VPPSA Compost Facility

Recycling will not be collected on Friday, July 4, and will be collected on Saturday, July 5. Garbage will be collected as per the normal schedule. Please set garbage toters out on the regular collection day.

Citizens needing assistance are reminded to submit requests via the Customer Service Request Portal – www.yorkcounty.gov/requests.
