    The York County Library Foundation is bringing together local residents, library patrons, educators, business owners, and community leaders for an important conversation on building trust and collaboration in our community. Join us at the Tabb Library at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 14, and learn how you can get involved in community initiatives. This TED-style talk will consist of a one-hour presentation followed by complimentary refreshments and networking.
     Featured speakers and community empowering topics include:
 

  • NASA’s Enhancing your Creative Genius presented by W.J. Rogers, NASA Contract Consultant
  • Restoring Local in a Shifting Media Landscape presented by Tom Davis, President of Local Voice Media
  • Building Trust & Loyalty to Your Brand presented by Courtney Buzzell, President of Proximo Marketing and Peninsula Women’s Network
  • Working Together: Creating Serendipitous Moments presented by Marla Schuchman, owner of Three Sheep Consulting and cofounder of Momentum
  • PTA, America’s Largest and Oldest Child Advocacy Group presented by Art Wayne, Virginia PTA Peninsula District Director
  • Next Chapter of the Library presented by Kevin Smith, York County Public Library Director
  • The World Needs Leaders presented by Noami Lewis, Community Talks Moderator and Toastmasters District 66 Director
