Yorktown Library?

HBM Architects is facilitating a Town Hall meeting and collaborative work session on Monday, July 16, at the Yorktown Library for York County citizens to provide their input about the library’s future expansion. Two sessions are scheduled – 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.  During each 90-minute session, participants will be shown a variety of library spaces and building styles to spark ideas about the possibilities for improving and expanding the Yorktown Library.
"Community input is important to us as we strive to modernize and transform our Yorktown branch into a 21st-century facility," said Kevin Smith, York County Public Library director. "The ability to incorporate public suggestions into the design plan is a critical part of the remodeling process."
The Yorktown Library is located at 8500 George Washington Memorial Highway.  For information on this meeting or any library programs, visit our website at www.yorkcounty.gov/library or contact the Yorktown Library at (757) 890-5207.
