July 26, 2018

The York County Board of Supervisors is currently seeking applications from county citizens interested in serving on the York County Community Services Grant Advisory Committee.  This committee serves as an advisory body to the Board of Supervisors on matters regarding the allocation of grants to civic and cultural organizations.

The committee is comprised of one member from each voting district.  The committee must discuss grant allocations to be awarded for fiscal years (which start July 1st). The committee meets during the months of January, February and March to discuss allocations for the upcoming fiscal year.  The schedule of those meetings will be determined at a future date.

York County citizens interested in applying for appointment to the Community Services Grant Advisory Committee may obtain an application at the County Administrator’s Office, 224 Ballard Street in Yorktown, or by calling (757) 890-3320.  Applications are available online at www.yorkcounty.gov (select “How Do I…” then “Apply for a Board / Commission”).
