American classic films include “His Girl Friday” starring Cary Grant, “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” starring Audrey Hepburn, “Love with the Proper Stranger” featuring Natalie Wood and Steve McQueen, and “Stalag 17” starring William Holden. Silent films and other classics are also available.
Kanopy Kids highlights films and TV series for children in preschool and older. Categories include TV series, movies, classic tales, learning languages, and story time classics. Key titles include “Arthur,” “Wild Kratts,” “Charlotte’s Web,” “Maya the Bee,” and “Little Pim.” Kanopy has partnered with Common Sense Media™ to provide developmentally appropriate age ratings so parents know which videos are best for their kids.

“Kanopy is an exciting addition to our library’s digital collection,” said Kevin Smith, York County Public Library Director. “The range of independent, foreign language, classic and documentary films available through Kanopy is a great complement to our physical collection.”
