Nature Journaling Walk & Talk
at New Quarter Park

October 24, 2018
Join veteran journalist and Richmond area instructor Lynn Wilson at New Quarter Park on Saturday, November 3, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. for an interesting program on “nature journaling.”  Ms. Wilson, a Virginia Master Naturalist, will share about this meaningful hobby and lead participants on a walk where they will revel in the sights and sounds of the park on a fall morning.  Participants will then spread out within an area to further appreciate their surroundings in solitude and write or sketch their observations.
This free program is limited to 15 participants, ages 15 and up.  Online registration is required at www.yorkcounty.gov/ParksandRec.  Basic supplies will be provided.
For more information, including directions to the park, call New Quarter Park at (757) 890-5840.  New Quarter Park is located at 1000 Lakeshead Drive near the Queens Lake neighborhood.
