The Senior Safety Summit brings together seniors from across the peninsula for a morning of engaging lectures. Among the topics: avoid common scams and fraud, legal solutions when dealing with aging and dementia, and Project Lifesaver, the latter of which is designed for at-risk individuals prone to wandering.
The Peninsula S.A.L.T. Council has held summits since 1995 to provide seniors with the latest information about scams and fraud, safety, and other timely topics.
A shred truck will be available from 7:30 to 10:30 for secure disposal of papers containing sensitive information. Shredding is a great way to prevent identity theft.
