It May Feel like Christmas, but Let's not Forget Thanksgiving!
American Evolution Festival - Customs Cultures and Cuisine - presented by TowneBank

Thanksgiving Comes Early with Yorktown's Harvest Festival

It's a pre-Thanksgiving cornucopia of fun at the Yorktown Waterfront this Saturday! Shop for turkeys, sample seasonal treats, and take home unique holiday pieces from local artists during our extended market from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This special Yorktown Market Days is part of the Commonwealth's Customs, Cultures, and Cuisine Festival with events taking place throughout November all across the state. Close to 50 vendors and artists participate in this special November market. You'll have a chance again this year to learn more about Foods and Feasts of Colonial Virginia - a holiday program put on by our community partner, the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown.

During the Festival, you can shop for seasonal treats; pork and poultry; hot coffee; pasta; homemade breads and baked goods; honey, sauces, and jams; kettle corn and flavored popcorn; gourmet dog treats; handmade pretzels and potato chips; and so much more. Enjoy free kids activities including a Virginia Living Animal show inside the Freight Shed at 11 a.m. sponsored by the Riverwalk Landing Business Association. Behind the Freight Shed, you'll find a kids fall make-and-take craft as well as a balloon artist. Don't miss the pie eating contest at 1 p.m. brought to you by Carrot Tree! Plus, the Fifes and Drums of York Town will play at 10 a.m. followed by music from Ralph Motley and the Last Minute Grass (Bluegrass).
Before you leave, be sure to snap your picture with our visiting LOVE letters which will be decorated just for our big event!
Remember, our markets are always rain or shine! If conditions are too uncomfortable for our vendors, artists, and shoppers - we'll simply move all the fun into the lower level of the
Riverwalk Landing Parking Terrace.
