As Grounds Maintenance Superintendent, Josh Loudin, leads a group of employees in the Grounds Maintenance and Construction division of Public Works. The crew’s work includes York County Roads (in partnership with VDOT), York County Public Schools, and the Hybrid Crews that handle both Stormwater and Grounds Maintenance. Mr. Loudin also coordinates scheduling and special events with staff members of Parks and Recreation and Tourism Development.
Mr. Loudin received his Associates Degree in Computer-Aided Drafting and Design Technology (Thomas Nelson Community College 2004) and his Bachelor of Business Administration (Averett University 2016). He completed the Local Government Management Certificate Program at Virginia Tech in 2019. His career with York County began in September 2004 as a Surveyor/Drafting Specialist. He has also held roles as AutoCAD Technician, Grounds Maintenance Operations Coordinator, and Interim Facility Maintenance Manager.
