Public Works is constructing a new 5' concrete sidewalk along Battle Road in Rt. 17 to Old-York Hampton Highway. The construction window is approximately six (6) weeks. During this time, there will be some minor inconveniences with construction traffic but there will be full access for all emergency vehicles, mail delivery, trash and recycling collections.
This project was planned and designed to improve pedestrian and cycling connectivity. This sidewalk will allow pedestrians to safely travel along Battle Road.
