As of Saturday, October 19th and going for six – eight weeks, the York County Transfer Station is closed to the public for repairs. The Citizen dropoff area for trash disposal remains open for residential use only, and will also close at noon every Saturday for the duration of the project; the remainder of the facility, including recycling dropoff area, metal recycling and VPPSA Composting Facility will be open under normal operations.
