[ARCHIVED] First Harry Potter Book now Available Without Waitlists or Holds

"Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" is now available with no waitlists in our OverDrive

With so much uncertainty in the world right now, it stands to reason that kids (and adults) could use a little bit of magic in their lives — and where better to find it than in the stories about the Boy Who Lived? Thanks to Pottermore Publishing the magic is unlocked.

Readers around the world will have the opportunity to discover (or rediscover) the magic of the first Harry Potter book with no waitlists or holds. The ebook and audiobook versions of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone will be available for unlimited access through your York County Public Library’s OverDrive digital collection. All library patrons will be able to borrow the title simultaneously. The ebooks and/or audiobooks are available in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Arabic, Danish, Finnish, Polish, Swedish, Czech, Modern Greek, Hungarian, Indonesian, Icelandic, Korean, Chinese, Russian, Norwegian, Portuguese, and Turkish.
