Gentle Yoga @ Your Library
Relieve your stress and sooth your soul with our Yoga series at your Library. Adults are invited to join a Garden of Zen Yoga instructor for a free Gentle Yoga class at 10:45 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 17, at the Yorktown Library. Bring your own mat or borrow one from our limited supply. Space is limited, so register online through the Events Calendar. You can also register by calling the Yorktown Library at 757-890-5207. Attendees must sign a waiver before participating. Note that Yoga will not be offered at the Tabb Library in September.

In Maximize Your Social Security, you'll learn strategies for getting the most out of your social security benefits. The workshop will be offered at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 11, at the Tabb Library. The same workshop will be offered at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 13, at the Yorktown Library. In Medicare Enrollment Tips, you'll learn what your enrollment options are and how you can get help navigating the complicated process of applying for Medicare when the time comes. This workshop will be offered on Tuesday, Sept. 25, at Tabb and repeated on Thursday, Sept. 27, at Yorktown. Both workshops begin at 6:30 p.m. and last for an hour.
