How can I find out if my house is in a flood zone?

There are two easy ways to get this information: - Use the Property Information System (Online Mapping) --> find your property (search by address or owner), then check the box in the layer list on the left that reads "Flood Zone (effective as of 1/16/15)* - Call our office at 757-890-3894 between 8:15 am and 5:00 pm and we will be happy to research and answer that question.
