Where do I take a diseased plant or unidentified insect for diagnosis?

Samples of diseased plants, as well as plants or insects for identification can be taken to the York/Poquoson Extension office, located at 5338-I George Washington Mem. Hwy., in the Washington Square Shopping Center. The plant sample should include as much of the plant as possible.

When bringing in an insect for identification, please make sure the specimen is in a tightly sealed container.
