Josh Loudin

The county's Athletic Field/Grounds Maintenance Superintendent, Josh Loudin, leads a group of employees in the Grounds Maintenance and Construction division of Public Works.  The crew’s work includes the maintenance of the McReynolds Athletic Complex (MAC), park and school athletic fields, Hybrid Crew (Stormwater/Grounds Maintenance Crew) Riverwalk, Yorktown waterfront area and the York County schools. Mr. Loudin also coordinates scheduling and special events with staff members of Parks, Recreation, and Tourism. 

Mr. Loudin received his Associates Degree in Computer-Aided Drafting and Design Technology (Thomas Nelson Community College 2004) and his Bachelor of Business Administration (Averett University 2016).  He is currently working on a Certificate in Local Government Management at Virginia Tech.  His career with York County began in September 2004 as a Surveyor/Drafting Specialist.  He has also held roles as AutoCAD Technician, Grounds Maintenance Operations Coordinator, and Interim Facility Maintenance Manager.
