This May marks the 20th anniversary of Riverwalk Landing, York County’s beloved waterfront destination for shopping, dining and entertainment. Nestled along the scenic York River—just steps from Yorktown Beach and the historic area—Riverwalk Landing remains a vibrant hub, attracting thousands of locals and tourists each year for farmers markets, outdoor concerts and familyfriendly festivals.
The development features nine buildings with more than 21,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, along with performance areas, a parking terrace and piers.
Three original businesses— Ben & Jerry’s, Viccellio G oldsmith, and Riverwalk Restaurant—are still going strong, now joined by eight others including Alexander’s Photography, Auntie M’s American Cottage, Carrot Tree, Gangsta Dog, Umi Sushi, Yorktown Bookshop, Patriot Tours & Provisions and Water Street Grille. A multi-day celebration is planned for May 22–26, featuring extended shopping hours, exclusive discounts, raffles, lawn games, a magician, and a roving musician. Enjoy a free outdoor concert by BrassWind on May 22, followed by live music with Trevor Daniel & the REEF on May 23 in front of Water Street Grille. The festivities wrap up with a Customer Appreciation Party on May 26 at Riverwalk Restaurant.
