The York-Poquoson Sheriff's Office holds its Annual "Shop with a Sheriff" campaign every December. With the help of local churches and schools, at least 100 children from York County and the City of Poquoson will be selected to participate.
The children arrive at the Tabb Walmart in Yorktown to go Christmas shopping with York-Poquoson Deputies. In order to make this an extra special day for the children, the "Shop with a Sheriff" committee hopes to raise as much money as possible before December 12, 2023.
"Shop with a Sheriff" helps many children through the generosity of our wonderful community. To continue to provide this positive and meaningful opportunity for the kids, Sheriff Ron Montgomery is asking local businesses, community organizations, and individuals to contribute this year.
Checks can be made payable to "Shop with a Sheriff" and mailed to the York-Poquoson Sheriff's Office "Shop with a Sheriff," P.O. Box 99, Yorktown, VA 23690. All donations are tax-deductible.
