Do you and your family know how to play? If not, that is okay. We have basic instructional videos (see below) and, on sight, posted signs to help get you and your family started. For those wanting a more personal lesson, consider our Pickleball lessons for youth and adults (beginner and intermediate skill levels currently) offered throughout the year. If you want to see online what lessons are now available, please visit our registration portal.
Our youth lessons are designed for youth as young as 8 years old. The lesson objectives are to introduce the youth to the skills necessary to play Pickleball. Our activities will focus on proper movement abilities while giving an overview of the game's fundamentals, rules, and etiquette. With the very young players, activities will also include teaching appropriate movement skills, plus being able to serve and return the ball.
BEGINNER - Designed for players ranked 0 to 2.5 in their skill level
Our beginner lessons are perfect for anyone new to Pickleball or still getting the basic skills down. Participants will learn and work on their physical movements across the court. Additionally, participants will develop skill sets focusing on Serves, Returns, and Scoring.
INTERMEDIATE - Designed for players ranked 2.5 to 3.5 in their skill level
Those who have mastered the basic skills of Pickleball and are ready to improve their fundamental skills should consider our more challenging lessons. The Intermediate lessons will take the basic skills you know and push you to be a more competitive player. Those who take this lesson will work on the following skill sets: Third shot drops, Dinking, Pacing the game, and Basic Strategies.
You must be able to serve and return consistently. You should not sign up for this course if you cannot do so.
