Online reference resources are available for use by York County Public Library card holders. Some may require your library card number. Use the number located under the barcode on the back of your card without spaces. Resources identified with "in-library only" may only be accessed on the public computers located at your Tabb or Yorktown Library.

OverDrive Language Learning Audiobooks
Learn a new language with an audiobook from our OverDrive Collection. Beginner through advanced lessons are available to download or listen online. 

Rosetta Stone
Access lessons and activities for 30 different languages with Rosetta Stone. Mobile apps are available for Android and iOS devices. After downloading the app, select "Enterprise and Education Learners" on the "Sign In" screen. Enter "s4680405" as the institution ID.

Transparent Language Online
Language learners can build their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills with Transparent Language Online. With courses and supplemental resources in over 110 languages , including English for speakers of over 30 languages, there is something for every learner. This program works on virtually any computer or mobile device through a web browser or mobile app.

Transparent Language Online - KidSpeak
KidSpeak is a fun, age-appropriate online language course designed for children ages 6 and up. The program introduces children to English, Spanish, French, Italian, and Mandarin Chinese by teaching words and phrases suitable for the learners' age, needs, and interests. More than 40 activities, puzzles, and songs guide young learners through the basics, along with a cartoon "friend" who speaks the language. KidSpeak works on computers, tablets, and phones.
