Family Preparedness
Family is as important to us as it is to you. There are many things we can all do to be safer. Every home should have multiple working smoke alarms and a Home Escape Plan that is familiar to everyone in the home and is practiced several times a year. We have included many resources on this page to assist you with information on carbon monoxide and smoke alarms, escape planning, home hazards, and disaster preparedness. The information, activities, lessons, and checklists will help you prepare for various emergencies. For additional information and activities for children or educational material, visit our Teachers page or the Children's Corner page.
