Charles Brown Park Community Garden

Plot Information

• Thirty garden plots are available

• Each plot measures 10 feet by 20 feet

• The annual fee is $15 per plot

• Plots are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis

• Applications must be approved by the Community Garden Coordinator

Gardener Support and Education

Gardeners who rent a plot will receive support from the Community Garden Coordinator and a Virginia Cooperative Extension Agent. Assistance includes educational programs and gardening instruction offered at various times throughout the year.

Renewals

• Returning gardeners must renew by January 31 to keep their current plot or receive priority for a different available plot.

• Renewals are processed first-come, first-served and are not guaranteed if the deadline is missed.

• Gardeners who do not renew by January 31 will forfeit their plot, which may be reassigned to new applicants.
