- How can I get involved in the Virginia Cooperative Extension Master Gardener Program?
-

Master Gardener trainees are selected from those who apply, are interviewed, and then chosen for the vacant spots. Applications are available on this website and are due at the end of May.
- How can I be made aware of future events sponsored by the Virginia Cooperative Extension - York/Poquoson office?
-
There are several avenues to keep you updated on all events and programs sponsored by VCE-York/Poquoson. The office has a full-page write up in the York County Citizen News, published quarterly and available in the York libraries.
The York/Poquoson Extension office also sends out email reminders through the York County Subscriber system.

-
Samples of diseased plants, as well as plants or insects for identification can be taken to the York/Poquoson Extension office, located at 5338-I George Washington Mem. Hwy., in the Washington Square Shopping Center. The plant sample should include as much of the plant as possible.
When bringing in an insect for identification, please make sure the specimen is in a tightly sealed container.
